The youth anti-bullying summit is a joint project of Step By Step and Bully Free West Virginia.
Among the topics touched on Friday were bullying on Facebook and elsewhere on-line.
"We're taking it out of the school and home issue, and we are seeing this as a community issue," says Tonja Barnett-Huff with Free Bullying WV. "It's going to take the community to curb the issue of bullying."
The summit also offers people a way to look at state school policy to find opportunities for bullying intervention.
